7cb1d79195 Lee Long is a martial-arts champion who the police usean undercover agent to infiltrate a drug ring responsible for importing heroin from Japan to Hong Kong. When he is identified and imprisoned, the police pressure his sister, Tina Long, to help them locate and free him. She gets the help of Lee's martial-arts school, including the powerful Sonny Kawasaka, for the inevitable battle-royale with the drug gang, which includes masters of many different 'schools' of fighting.
This isn't a Sonny Chiba film, although it has the same namethe series, and he does appear briefly in the film, it features the very capable Etsuko Shihomi, one of his students.<br/><br/>This is her first leading role and she would make many films before achieving award status, but she is still very watchable and entertaining in this non-stop karate exhibition.<br/><br/>Be it Asian beanpoles armed with Nunchukas or elderly men wielding metallic claws, our lovely heroine will crush anyone who tries to prevent her from rescuing her brother from the clutches of the vile villains that hold him.<br/><br/>You must really like karate to watch this filmthat is all there is. Be warned that there is not a lot of gore, but there is one rape scene.
I just saw this one last night. I thought it was quite fun in a awful kind of way. It features Sue ShiomiTina Long, a female karate expert who goes to Tokyo to find her brother. A cop who has mysteriously disappeared investigating a drugs ring. Lots of fights ensueshe tracks him down. Terrible dubbing(although thats par for the course in this sort of movie). The panning and scanning on the version I saw was horrible, regularly cutting people and faces out of shot that should obviously be on screen. Good fight sequences save it, and at 85 odd minutes does'nt outstay its welcome. Give it a go if you can find it, I liked it.

In the US, the film had problems to be approved for a long time, justthe Chiba Street Fighter films had. Originally, the cut cinema version was supposed to be X-Rated, which would have meant, however, the commercial ruin for the film. Therefore, they decided to cut the crudest scenes in favor of an R-Rating. For a long period of time just this censored version has been available both on VHS and DVD. It was not until a few years ago, that the uncut movie was released in an unrated version.
